We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Cleaner / Housekeeping Team Member to help keep The Tap House clean, organised and guest-ready across the week.
The Tap House is a country pub with a bar, restaurant, function space and motel-style guest accommodation. Cleanliness is a major part of the customer experience, so this role is important to the smooth running of the business.
We are looking for someone to cover Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Hours will vary depending on room bookings, business levels and the agreed rota, but shifts will usually fall between 8:00am and 3:00pm.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and likes seeing a job done properly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and resetting guest rooms, including beds and bathrooms
- Ironing linen and helping keep laundry organised
- Cleaning the pub, restaurant, toilets and customer areas before service
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or anything that could affect guest experience or safety
What We’re Looking For
- Cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Comfortable with active, physical work
