What You’ll Be Doing -
The Liquids Production Operative is responsible for operating vessels, mixers, and associated equipment, ensuring accurate recipe adherence, maintaining traceability, and supporting continuous improvement within the liquids department.
- Operate vessels, mixers, pumps, transfer systems, and associated liquid processing equipment in accordance with Works Orders and SOPs.
- Manufacture liquid products to exact recipe specifications, ensuring accuracy in weighing, mixing, timing, and process parameters.
- Produce large-scale bulk liquid batches, including flavour systems (e.g. vanilla, almond oil, orange oil) and colour blends, ensuring consistency and homogeneity throughout the mix.
- Monitor critical control points during large-scale mixing to ensure product integrity, particularly where oils, flavours, and colours require precise dispersion.
- Adjust products as required to meet specification, following documented procedures and Supervisor guidance.
- Prepare and process batches including mixing, blending, heating, cooling, and product transfers.
- Adhere to BRC, HACCP, and company food safety standards at all times.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, including hygiene, handwashing, and correct PPE usage (including beard snoods where applicable).
- Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and storage of finished goods and IBCs to prevent contamination and maintain product integrity.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures, particularly when handling large volumes of liquid, oils, and flavour concentrates.

- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift 25kg comfortably.
- Skills: Basic reading, writing (for batch numbers), and basic IT skills (emails).
- Attributes: High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Preferred: Counterbalance FLT license is a plus, but not essential.
- Requirement: Must have the right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship available).
