As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our advanced machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will be the face of Prima Power, providing expert technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and test new machinery at customer sites.- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of service reports and timesheets.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest technical developments and product innovations.
- Collaborate with the Prima Power team.
- Ideally qualification in Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proven experience in field service or a related technical role, preferably with experience on CNC controlled machinery.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical circuits along with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Some knowledge of PLC and software troubleshooting.
- A good working knowledge of common computer programs such as Word and Excel
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as required.
