We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our busy warehouse team. This is a varied role involving the movement of materials, warehouse stock control, vehicle loading and unloading, and supporting production operations to ensure products are dispatched accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply materials to production and packaging departments as required.
- Assist Packaging department where required
- Safely load and unload vehicles using FLT equipment.
- Carry out daily stock movements and material handling activities.
- Ensure all stock transactions and movements are accurately recorded within SAP.
- Pick, prepare and dispatch customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support Goods In activities, including receipting stock, packaging materials and processing returns.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure the warehouse remains safe, organised and compliant.
- Adhere to all company policies, GMP standards, and Health & Safety regulations at all times.
About You
The successful candidate will be a flexible team player who can adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will have a strong commitment to health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Valid and current FLT Licence essential.
- Proven Reach Truck experience within a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
- Counterbalance FLT experience preferred; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience of material handling, stock movements, and warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of SAP transactions relating to stock control and warehouse activities.
- Goods In experience, including stock receipting, packaging materials and returns processing.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Health & Safety requirements.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
