Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Chef/Fryer to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be at the heart of our kitchen operations, responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality fried dishes and supporting overall meal preparation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fryer station and surrounding work areas
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and proper handling of ingredients at all times
- Assist in meal preparation by measuring ingredients, assembling dishes, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality and safety standards are met
- Serve food efficiently to guests while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Support the overall flow of the kitchen by coordinating with team members during busy periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling ingredients and equipment
- Strong skills in meal preparation, frying techniques, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Prior experience serving guests or working in a fast-paced food service environment is a plus
- Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to evolving menu offerings
