Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Administrator and Safeguarding Advisor to join our team in Lincoln. This vital role supports our operational needs and ensures the safety and well-being of our clients and staff. The position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a community-centred organisation committed to mental health and social support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations of the counselling hub.
- Coordinate client appointments and rebookings, maintain records, and handle correspondence such as telephone calls, emails and our booking systems.
- Take payments and answer client & counsellor queries.
- Develop safeguarding policies and processes in line with best practices, in collaboration with the designated safeguarding lead.
- Provide guidance and advice on safeguarding procedures to counsellors, staff and volunteers.
- Collaborate with external agencies for safeguarding concerns, and signposting to other support organisations.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within a community or social services setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies, practices and procedures (further training will be provided).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience working with children and vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mental health support services is a plus.

The in-person role is for 22.5 hours per week, split between 3 days:
Tuesday 09:00 - 17:00
Wednesday 11:00-19:00
Thursday 09:00 - 17:00
Pay: £12.71 per hour
