Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the head chef in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including utensils and equipment
- Support the team in meal preparation for both individual orders and large events
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to the head chef
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- Adhere to all health and safety policies, including proper handling of food and equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience serving or interacting with guests is advantageous but not essential
