Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction during their visit
- Follow proper food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times to ensure health standards are met
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant or pub settings is preferred including bar experience
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety practices, and basic food preparation skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing and transactions accurately
- Reliable with good communication skills; able to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
