Positions available across five site locations in Plymouth
Main purpose of role:
We're looking for skilled Assemblers to join our production team, helping to build some of the world's finest luxury yachts.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll play a key role in assembling major moulds, canopies and small mould components, both internally and externally, ensuring every yacht is built to the highest standards of quality, safety and performance.
Main responsibilities:
- Levelling and measuring components to the required specifications.
- Assembling GRP and wooden components, including cutting bulkheads, transoms and other parts where required.
- Structurally bonding joints to achieve exceptional strength and finish.
- Installing trays, steelwork, frames, transport support frames and other GRP components.
- Fitting key systems and components including fuel tanks, I-beams, bathing platforms and hydraulic systems.
- Safely lifting and positioning major boat components using mechanical lifting equipment.
- Completing and signing off boat documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Installing teak decking and carrying out associated finishing work.
- Fitting fibreglass canopies.
- Applying sealants to ensure high-quality finishes and watertight integrity.
- Supporting development projects and continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge and experience:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar assembly, manufacturing or construction role.
- Experience working with GRP, timber and composite materials.
- The ability to read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings to complete assemblies accurately.
- A strong commitment to quality, ensuring work is completed to company standards and project deadlines.
- A proactive approach to teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.

Pay: £15.31-£16.46 per hour
