We are recruiting a technician to support our creative studio environments. This is a dynamic role that requires the postholder to work with staff and students on a range of activities, changing throughout the year. There is also a strong element of regular activities to maintain studios and surrounding spaces and the need to enable and support collaborative and innovative working.

Your priorities will include:
- Regular maintenance and service of studio spaces to ensure working spaces are suitable within a dynamic and ever-changing academic environment.
- Work with students to support them to practice safely in studios.
- Ensuring public spaces, corridors, research and exhibition spaces remain free from furniture, rubbish, and are maintained in safe, usable condition at all times.
- Completing studio moves and providing specialist support for exhibitions and other projects and events.
- Responding to enquiries from staff and students, in-person and by email.
Who we're looking for:
- Some experience of construction and the use of power tools.
- Good inter-personal and communications skills.
- Knowledge of safe moving and handling practices.
- Flexible approach and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
