job Title: CCTV Operator
Location: Caledonia Park
Job Purpose: To ensure that effective security operational tasks are employed within the clients’ premises, to protect the client’s property, staff and customers.
Responsible To: All CCTV Officers are responsible to the Security Manager and are to be aware of any escalation process for any incident that requires reporting.
Job Description: The role of the CCTV Officer is wide and varied and is to be in accordance with the site Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Of paramount importance for all CCTV Officers to have the following:
a. Good Timekeeping
b. Good Attendance
c. Smart Appearance
d. Polite and Helpful
General Duties:
· All CCTV Officers are to have a clear understanding of their operating environment within the clients’ grounds and premises and understand any specific threat that may impact on the security, safety and welfare of employees, visitors and contractors.

CCTV Officer are to be licensed through the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and trained to that standard. All security staff are to wear the agreed uniform covered in the site Assignment Instructions
o Report all incidents and record in the Daily Occurrence Book and service delivery report.
o Reporting any defects
o Inspect stairwells checking that doors are secured and PAC Access controls are configured correctly.
o No fire doors are wedged open (all doors are fire doors)
· Building Lock Up and Open Up procedures: All GSO’s are to be fully conversant with building lock up and open up procedures.
Full understanding of all CCTV equipment
