Our Education and Skills Service is looking to appoint four Locality Inclusion and Learning Lead (SEND and Inclusion). This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape inclusive education within a locality at a time of significant national SEND reform.

The City of Doncaster Council puts in improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for a confident and ambitious individual to help transform/improve/deliver Doncaster’s SEND Strategy and Experts at Hand model, helping schools build capacity, strengthen inclusive practice and ensure children and young people receive the right support at the right time. Combining strategic leadership, school improvement and multi-agency coordination, you will play a key role in delivering the ambitions of the national SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan, reducing barriers to learning, improving outcomes and supporting a more inclusive education system for all children and young people.

Duties include:
- Lead and coordinate locality SEND and inclusion support, ensuring schools can access the right expertise and services.
- Promote inclusive practice and school improvement through support, challenge, quality assurance and collaboration.
- Build strong partnerships with schools, families and multi-agency professionals to improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Oversee SEND resources and funding, ensuring effective, equitable and impactful use of support.
- Use data, training and workforce development to strengthen provision, build capacity and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, SEND legislation and statutory responsibilities.
