Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical experience and be capable of performing a variety of electrical tasks across both domestic and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to utilise their expertise in a professional environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
Duties
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective solutions promptly.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to carry out installations or repairs accurately.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety protocols.
- Assisting with the testing of electrical systems to verify proper operation post-installation or repair.
The ideal candidates will be able to work to tight timescales, use their own initiative and provide customers with the highest standard of quality work. You must have the right to work in the UK and possess the following:
- 18th Edition Qualification essential
- Testing qualification advantageous
- Proven electrical experience domestic, commercial and industrial environments
- Experience in rewiring domestic properties preferable
- Knowledge of current electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations is vital for ensuring compliance.
- Prior experience reading technical drawings and schematics will be advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Must be willing to work away
