Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Retail Assistant to join our convenience store team.
Key Responsibilities
- Stocking and replenishing shelves.
- Checking stock levels and ensuring products are displayed neatly.
- Checking product dates and rotating stock.
- Serving customers at the till and handling cash/card payments.
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service.
- Keeping the shop floor, counters and storage areas clean and tidy.
- Receiving and putting away deliveries.
- Helping with pricing and promotional displays.
- Following store procedures, including health and safety requirements.
- Assisting with general day-to-day duties to keep the store running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and approachable with good customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with lifting boxes and stocking shelves.
- Previous retail or convenience store experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Hours 10am-1pm - Monday - Friday
