Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant SEND to join our team in the. This role involves supporting children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive personalized care and assistance. Based in, you will play a vital part in helping us create inclusive and supportive educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational activities for children with special needs.
- Support children with autism and other disabilities to participate fully in classroom activities.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support student progress.
- Support toddlers and young children in their daily routines and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
- Contribute to creating a positive learning atmosphere that encourages development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills suitable for engaging with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions and disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children's individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or special education are preferred.

Pay: £12.71-£14.32 per hour
