About the Role:
I'm working on behalf of a well-established engineering client based near Royston who is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to join a growing engineering business, working on a variety of bespoke fabrication projects within a professional workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings
- Measure, mark out, cut and prepare materials
- Carry out MIG welding and general fabrication duties
- Use workshop machinery, tools and equipment safely
- Check completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Going out to site
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Fabricator / Welder
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience within a fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong MIG welding and metal fabrication skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and hardworking approach
- Full UK driving licence is essential due to the location
