The Role:
We are looking for a technically experienced wide format digital Print Operator to join our team. Wallsauce has an excellent reputation for providing a high- quality experience when ordering custom made wall murals, which are purchased by customers in the UK, USA, Australia and other countries worldwide.
This is a hands-on role with high levels of interaction with all aspects of the print production. The role provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop existing printing knowledge and skills. We are looking for candidates that demonstrate excellent communication skills, organisational ability and a positive team attitude.
Working as a valuable part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering the highest possible levels of print production for our custom printed large format products. You will be responsible for the running of the large format print machines, quality control checks, and packing orders ready for shipment.
Your Key Duties:
- Running and monitoring the printing machine, including RIP-ing Artwork files
- Work to production targets
- Ensure that all quality checks are carried out and all required paper work is completed
- Maintain the quality of the product ensuring the correct labelling and packaging instructions are followed
- Monitor waste and attempt to reduce it
- Identify and report any faults
- Run Cleaning Processes at end of shift
- Interact as a positive productive team member across all areas of production and shipment
- Receiving all deliveries, unpacking and storing in correct place
- Packaging and shipment of prints
- Maintain a safe work environment with a well organised and clean work area
- Other production tasks as assigned
Essential Skills & Experience
- Large format UV based digital print production
- Experience of cutting and rewinding equipment
- Printer maintenance
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Digital wallpaper print production
- NVQ in Print (Desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of Canon Colorado 1650
- Knowledge of UV gels
- Knowledge of courier systems
- Knowledge of Onyx RIPs

Salary & Hours:
- Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week including occasional evenings and weekends over busy periods.
- Holidays: Annual leave is 25 days.
- This full-time position is subject to a standard three-month probationary period.
