Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience at our establishment.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to meet our high cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry items.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
