Responsibilities
- Handle materials with care, ensuring accurate picking, packing, stocking, and dispatching of products.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing.
- Prepare shipments by packing items securely and labeling them correctly for delivery.
- Receive incoming goods by inspecting deliveries for quality and accuracy, then storing items in designated locations.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by regularly tidying storage areas and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting.
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely.
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as load & unload operations consistently throughout shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control and stock accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
