Duties
- Perform welding, carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other construction-related tasks with precision and safety in mind
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, and repairing structures
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for material handling and site preparation
- Assist with mechanical repairs and installations by applying mechanical knowledge and technical skills
- Operate commercial vehicles safely for transportation of materials and equipment to various job sites
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, stonework, or concrete finishing as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or in challenging environments
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques with a strong understanding of safety standards
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders)
- Solid mechanical knowledge applicable to repair or assembly tasks
- Experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry or related construction trades
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form and technique
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites
