We are seeking a highly organised and proactive School Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office functions, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient workflow. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including administrative tasks and clerical duties
- Manage and supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support
- Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Coordinate human resources activities such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
- Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams via phone and email
- Organise schedules, meetings, and appointments to optimise workflow
- Ensure the office environment is professional, organised, and welcoming
- Handle phone etiquette professionally when interacting with clients and visitors
- Maintain organisational systems for filing, correspondence, and documentation
- Assist with special projects as required to support organisational goals
Experience
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles
- Supervising or team management experience is essential
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment and employee relations
- Strong clerical and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior office experience combined with supervisory responsibilities will be advantageous
