At The Subsidence Surveying Company, we offer a range of professional surveying services primarily working within the Insurance and Loss Adjuster sector.
Due to continued expansion and success, we are seeking to appoint multiple Level Monitoring Teams, comprising of 2 Technician's to work within our Level Monitoring Division. The role will involve working predominantly as a 2-person team, carrying out the physical aspects of site-based residential surveying.
Whilst no direct experience is necessary as full training and supervision will be provided, any experience in construction, geology or the environment would be useful.
Overall, you will need a strong work ethic, be able to follow instruction and be committed to working safely.
With our sites being based throughout the UK and days involving early starts (on average 11 hours per day, working 4 days per week), a full UK driving licence is required and your own car insured for business use. There will also be a requirement to stay over in hotels when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Using specialist Level Equipment (full training provided)
- Travelling to multiple sites each day
- Capturing the required survey information, including photo and video-based evidence, producing detailed site plans and interacting with customers and clients.
- Managing job files and entering data via tablet-based software.
Skills required
- Strong Literacy and numeracy skills
- Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems and act independently when needed
- The ability to operate small, drill-based machinery
- A desire to work outdoors
