Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner for a variety of carpentry and joinery tasks on a student accommodation project in Aberdeen AB25
You will be installing Plywood Boards around Scaffolding works as well as other tasks.
Utilising both hand and power tools to create high-quality wooden structures and fittings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to ensure precision in joinery work.
- Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of materials throughout the construction site.
- Assist with construction painting to finish surfaces to a high standard.
- Support masonry work by preparing surfaces and assisting with installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Blue/Gold CSCS
- Familiarity with fabrication and assembly techniques is highly desirable.
- Have your own tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
