We're looking for an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing maintenance team working primarily within Housing Association and Local Authority properties across the South Coast.
Plumbing needs to be your core trade.
But we're not looking for someone who puts the tools away the moment the plumbing is finished.
We're looking for a proper all-rounder.
Someone who can diagnose and repair plumbing problems, carry out reactive repairs and undertake full bathroom replacements from rip-out through to completion.
That means being comfortable replacing baths, showers, WCs and basins, altering pipework and then dealing with the surrounding carpentry, flooring, tiling, sealing and making good needed to actually finish the job.
We need people with a first-time-fix mentality.
People who take ownership.

People who find solutions.
People who finish what they start.

More Than Just Plumbing
This is where the role gets interesting.
One day might be predominantly reactive maintenance – leaking toilets, shower faults, pipework repairs, taps, basins or diagnosing a leak nobody else has been able to find.
Another job could be a complete bathroom replacement.
Rip out the existing bathroom.
Alter the plumbing where required.
Install the new bath or shower, WC and basin.
Complete the associated carpentry.
Install or repair flooring.
Tile and make good where required.
Seal and finish everything properly.
Then leave behind a completed bathroom, not a collection of jobs for somebody else to finish.

The Role
This is a genuine Plumber / Multi-Trade position.
You'll primarily work within Housing Association and Local Authority properties across the South Coast carrying out reactive maintenance, planned works, void works, full bathroom replacements and general property repairs.
Typical works could include:
- Full bathroom replacements – from rip-out through to completion
- Plumbing fault finding and repairs
- WC repairs, replacements and installations
- Bath replacements and installations
- Shower repairs and installations
- Taps, basins and sink replacements
- Pipework repairs and alterations
- Leak investigation
- Ball valves, stop taps and isolation valves
- Bathroom remedial works
- Associated carpentry and boxing
- Flooring repairs and installation
- Tiling and tiling repairs
- Patch repairs and making good
- General multi-trade repairs
- Silicone, sealing and finishing works
- Snagging
- First-time-fix reactive maintenance
Some jobs will be straightforward.
Others absolutely won't be.
