Overview

Duties
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, including flatbed trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet schedule requirements and optimize time management
- Load, secure, and unload goods with care, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Deliver products directly to customer locations, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, delivery notes, and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- This role is a multi-drop position
Qualifications
- Valid driving license suitable for operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle, with a maximum 6 points. No DR/DD or CD endorsements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures for commercial vehicles
- Experience with delivery routes and navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries
- Excellent physical fitness for loading/unloading cargo and handling deliveries in various environments
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
