About the Role
As a Tax Manager you’ll deliver high‑quality tax planning and advisory services and complex returns to corporate groups, owner‑managed businesses, private individuals and not‑for‑profit organisations. You’ll enjoy a varied portfolio, exposure to interesting industries, and a clear opportunity to contribute to both your clients’ success and the firm’s growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting complex tax returns (Corporation Tax, VAT, and personal taxes) to ensure everything is legally airtight.
- Advising on tax matters to a wide range of clients
- Assisting high-net-worth individuals with inheritance tax planning, trusts, and estate structuring.
- Liaising and negotiating directly with HMRC on behalf of clients, particularly during complex tax investigations.
- Contributing to process improvements and adopting new technologies.
- Building strong, professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
About You
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Are qualified via the CIOT (ATT/ CTA)
- Proven ability to manage teams, workflows and client relationships effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and a can-do approach to problem-solving.
- Sound judgement, technical rigour and the ability to operate at leadership level.
