⭐ Casual Care Assistant - Liverpool - £15.11p/h (double time bank holidays!)
We’re looking for a passionate Care/Support Worker to join our team in the Liverpool area! You’ll be supporting our client who is quadriplegic following an acquired brain injury, by helping them live an independent and fulfilling life at home and in the local community.
While clinical experience is a plus, this role is all about finding the right person who brings a positive, can-do attitude, and a friendly, upbeat personality. You’ll work alongside a small, supportive team in the clients family home where your energy and care will truly make a difference.

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.
Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. You will need to have a good sense of humour. As well as being a naturally caring, confident and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:
- ✅Personal care, support to manage incontinence, and measures to maintain a good skin state.
- ✅Catheter Care.
- ✅Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes).
- ✅Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, cooking nutritious meals).
- ✅Gastrostomy care and administration of prescribed feed, fluid and medication.
- ✅Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping. .
- ✅Supporting and communicating with someone who is non verbal.
You should also have:
- ✅Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- ✅Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must also have eligibility to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship.
