The Opportunity
In this role, you will research, design and deliver bespoke learning outcomes in line with the requirements of the identified stakeholders. You will need to pro-actively establish and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, as well as the wider learning and development team.
You will deliver engaging training sessions, using a variety of training methods from face to face to webinars and everything in between. For every session, you will need to ensure learning objectives are met accordingly. You will continuously assess, evaluate and update learning resources to ensure that delegates are receiving the most up to date and relevant skills to enable them to deliver in their roles.
You will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes are available.
About you
Some of the key skills, experience and knowledge required to be successful in the role include:
- Professional learning and development qualification or experience in delivering training and supporting learning using a variety of methods.
- Relevant knowledge, experience and expertise in management and leadership development to enable you to understand initiatives and create appropriate learning and development outcomes.
- Experience of effective coaching skills and supervision of others and evidence of your own continuous professional development.
- Excellent standards of communication at all levels, to enable clear exchanges of information when providing training in different environments, ranging from face to face training in groups to one-to-one webinar delivery.
- An understanding of a wide range of learning styles and the ability to deliver training to all, at a variety of levels, in a tactful, diplomatic and empathetic way.
- Ability to present information and subject matter in a clear, concise and accurate way, which promotes understanding and achieves learning objectives, both verbally and in written format.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work, in a clear and logical way to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Excellent questioning skills and the ability to listen, you will be able to obtain information, without judgement, to enable you to summarise and respond back to the learner effectively.
- Good IT skills, including being able to use MS Office software, communicate via email and deliver webinars via MS Teams.
