Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and stored appropriately
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
- Occasionally assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or window cleaning
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving interaction with clients or guests
- Cooking experience is considered a plus for roles within hospitality settings but is not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
