Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Locum Pharmacy Dispenser. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pharmacy operations, dispensing medications accurately, and providing excellent patient care. Duties
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
- Provide guidance and information to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions
- Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
- Support inventory management, including stock checks and reordering of supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing patient records
- Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times
Experience
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
- Experience in patient care, including providing clear communication about medication use and health advice
- Familiarity with pharmacy legislation, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
