Job Description
We are seeking a motivated part‑time Kitchen Assistant to join our team and support the smooth running of our kitchen. Duties include washing dishes and kitchen equipment, unpacking and storing deliveries, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and providing general assistance to the chefs as required.
All our staff, including our kitchen team, play an important role in supporting our residents in a friendly, patient and caring manner. As part of the team, you will help residents maintain independence and feel at home.
Some experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as we offer full training and ongoing development opportunities.
This is a part‑time position, with additional hours available to cover holidays.
Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 8am–3pm
A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for this post (Dystlegh Grange will organise this for the successful candidate)
Location
We are based in the village of Disley, near Lyme Park (Stockport SK12 2JL), in the Cheshire / High Peak area.
Please ensure you are able to travel to our location reliably, particularly if you do not have your own transport.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
