Empire Support Services are looking for Security Officers to work In Fleet walk shopping Centre based in Torquay. Start date 18/06/2026
Permanent Hours, Day Shifts 4 on & 4 off 08.00 to 18.00, overtime available.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorised entry
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
Note: Loss prevention experience is a plus, but not required.
