The Haslem Group are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Food and Beverage team at The Haslem Hotel Lisburn. As a Food and Beverage team member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, providing attentive and efficient service.
Key responsibilities in this role:
Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and provide menu recommendations when needed.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Address customer enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
Food and Beverage Knowledge:
- Have knowledge and understanding of the menu, including ingredients/ allergens.
- Make suggestions and upsell items to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Ensure all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
Table Maintenance:
- Set up and clean tables efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
- Monitor and refill beverages, condiments, and utensils as needed.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless service and complete other tasks as required.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow alcohol service policies and check identification when serving alcohol.
Cash Handling:
- Handle cash and payments accurately, including processing credit card transactions.
- Maintain a balanced cash register and provide change as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food and beverage service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
