Warwick Sport is looking for swimming teachers to teach our Learn 2 Swim programme — a thriving, 7-day operation that teaches children aged 3–14, teenagers, and adults to swim with confidence. Alongside our core lessons, you'll have the opportunity to teach crash courses, adult lessons, and 1-1 lessons, making sure every swimmer in your sessions is progressing, supported, and enjoying the water.
You'll be on poolside delivering high-quality lessons and will lead lessons both with and without an assistant. There will be opportunities to strengthen and develop your knowledge and skills as well as mentoring other teachers and the assistant teachers and play a key part in their development.
What you'll be doing
Planning and delivering swimming lessons aligned with the Swim England National Plan, for swimmers of all ages and abilities
Overseeing the structure, attainment, and progress of swimmers in your sessions
Tracking progress, and liaising with parents on everything from development milestones to individual support and SEND conversations
Helping with set-up and pack-down, and contributing to a safe pool environment alongside the wider Operations team
Attending staff training roughly every two months, and attending your own regular training from the aquatics team
Ensure compliance to existing GDPR policy and procedure designed to ensure security of data held on users.
Promote the use of the parental access (Home Portal) with all parents/ guardians.
