We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to provide essential operational and emergency support across the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
The postholder will ensure all internal and external calls are handled efficiently, direct callers to the appropriate departments, support emergency crash call processes, manage Multitone bleeps, and assist with on-call rota management.
The Role
- Answer and manage calls for the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, directing callers to the appropriate departments.
- Communicate regularly with the Trust's Single Point of Contact to support Trust prioritisation.
- Log and monitor Estates tasks for QEH and ensure accurate task records are maintained.
- Monitor the CAFM system and support the achievement of agreed SLAs.
- Act as a contact point for BOC and waste-related enquiries and services.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations, including BOC, lift and toilet alarms, and support emergency calls as required.
- Liaise with ISS Management and Team Leaders to prioritise tasks and support operational coordination activities.
- Undertake keyholder responsibilities and provide administrative support.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Good computer competency.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to manage, lead and motivate a team of people.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with customers, employees and teams at all levels.
- High level of flexibility and a positive attitude towards innovation and change.
- Ability to work on own initiative and take independent action when required.
- Ability to operate a two-way radio.
- Awareness and understanding of ETAs and SLAs.
