Trafalgar House Dental Practiceis looking for a patient-focused Dental Hygienist / Therapistto join our friendly independent private practice in Truro.
This role is one day per week (Wednesday)with the potential to increase days in the future as the patient list grows.
We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where clinicians can provide high-quality, prevention-focused careand build long-term relationships with patients.
About the Practice
We are a modern fully digital private practicewith a strong emphasis on prevention and patient experience.
Our practice includes:
- EMS Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy
- iTero and Medit scanners
- Digital X-rays and intra-oral cameras
- Fully computerised systems
- Supportive and experienced team
Appointments are tailored to the patient and typically range from 30–90 minutes, allowing you to provide thorough and gentle care.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Preventative dental care and periodontal treatment
- Oral health education and patient motivation
- Building and maintaining a loyal patient list
- Providing gentle, patient-centred hygiene care
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is GDC registered
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is confident administering local anaesthetic
- Enjoys building long-term patient relationships
- Has experience managing periodontal disease
- Works well within a small supportive team
Experience with anxious patients is beneficial.
