About the Role:
As a People Advisor, you will be an integral member of the People Team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied and high volume Employee Relations caseload, primarily including absence management, welfare, performance management, maternity/paternity, disciplinaries and grievances - with the support of the HRBP.
- Providing comprehensive support and advice to line managers on a wide range of Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies, and best practice.
- Championing and maintaining a culture of service excellence; ensuring that the expectations and requirements of the departments stakeholders are delivered upon.
- Facilitating formal meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and procedural compliance.
- Ensuring that all documentation and records that are created and maintained by you are complete, accurate and aligned with any required standards.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation.
- Support the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery and reduce organisational risk.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous HR experience with a solid understanding of Employee Relations, formal HR processes & Employment Law
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively build relationships
- Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Criteria:
- CIPD Qualified (Level 3 or above)
