We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and professional Polish-speaking Apprentice Financial Adviser / Paraplanner to work directly alongside the firm's Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in financial services while gaining a recognised industry qualification through the Level 4 Financial Planner Adviser or Paraplanner Apprenticeship (DipFA).
The Role
This is a development role designed to provide hands-on experience across all areas of financial planning. You will work closely with the Director, supporting client meetings, research, report preparation and ongoing client service whilst studying towards your professional qualification.
As your knowledge and experience grow, you will take on increasing responsibility and develop the skills required for a successful career as a Financial Adviser or Paraplanner.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director in the preparation of financial planning reports and suitability letters.
- Assist with research of pensions, investments, protection and other financial planning solutions.
- Attend client meetings alongside the Director and produce accurate meeting notes.
- Help maintain client records using our CRM and back-office systems.
- Liaise with providers, solicitors, mortgage lenders and other third parties.
- Communicate with clients in both Polish and English.
- Assist with gathering client information and completing fact-finds.
- Prepare documentation for new business submissions and ongoing reviews.
- Monitor progress of client cases and follow up outstanding requirements.
- Support the administration of the business and contribute to delivering excellent client outcomes.
- Participate fully in the Level 4 Financial Planner Adviser or Paraplanner Apprenticeship programme.
- Develop an understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and financial planning best practice.
Person Specification Essential
- Fluent spoken and written Polish and English.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Access to your own transport or ability to travel independently for client visits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable and well-presented.
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Minimum educational level of A-Levels
Desirable
- Previous customer service, administration or office experience.
- Interest in finance, investments or financial planning.
- Experience dealing with clients or professional services businesses.
