Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House (FOH) staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and have a background in restaurant service or hospitality. Previous experience in food safety, food preparation, and culinary settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they receive attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve dishes and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Assist with food safety protocols and uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic garnishing or plating
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Manage guest queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely order delivery and service flow
- Maintain organisation of tables, condiments, and dining areas for optimal guest comfort
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a friendly attitude and eagerness to learn are vital
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Excellent guest service skills with a professional demeanour
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transaction purposes
- Experience in culinary environments or kitchen settings is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
