Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our retail outlet. Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, merchandising, and customer service.
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service standards.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain organised stock levels through effective merchandising and inventory management.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining professional communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Assist in administrative duties such as reporting, stock control, and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, motivate staff, and foster a positive working environment.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and organisational skills for handling customer interactions professionally.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
