Gelato Bros is an ice cream challenger brand creating delicious frozen desserts using only natural ingredients. With a core focus on clean-label, all of our products are UPF-free and plant-based.

The Role
Working at our manufacturing facility, you will be a vital part of the team ensuring our frozen desserts are produced to the highest standards. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparation: Preparing and measuring ingredients according to precise recipes.
- Machinery: Operating ice cream and chocolate equipment.
- Quality Control: Performing checks on weight, temperature, and appearance to maintain our premium standards.
- Packaging: Packaging finished products for storage and distribution.
- Compliance: Accurately completing production logs for food safety and traceability.
- Hygiene: Maintaining a clean, contamination-free workspace and adhering to all health and safety/PPE regulations.
Essential Requirements - Please Read Carefully
This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced environment. To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Proven experience in a professional kitchen/food production or a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Physical Fitness: You must be comfortable standing for long periods and performing lifting throughout the entire shift.
- Reliability: We are a high-growth start-up; we need team members who are punctual and dependable.
- Attitude: We are a friendly, polite, and hard-working team looking for someone with a positive personality and excellent teamwork/communication skills.
- Attention: Excellent attention to detail and great hand-eye coordination.
- Organised: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Qualifications: Food Hygiene Level 2 - training for this can be provided for the right person.
- Work Authorisation: United Kingdom.
Desirable Skills
- Specific experience with ice cream or chocolate machinery.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a willingness to learn.
