Initially, your primary focus will be leading the delivery of the landmark Scarborough West Pier regeneration project. This is a major conservation-led waterfront redevelopment for North Yorkshire Council of around £10m. Beyond this, you'll play a key role in delivering and supporting a wider programme of construction, refurbishment and regeneration schemes across NYH Property, with an anticipated annual project pipeline in the region of £20m.
The project presents a unique blend of:
- Heritage conservation.
- Refurbishment and restoration.
- New-build construction.
- Coastal engineering.
- Infrastructure delivery.
- Sustainable regeneration.
Working within a live operational harbour and tourist environment, you'll engage with commercial tenants, harbour users, fishing operators, visitors, local businesses and key stakeholders while maintaining safe and efficient construction delivery to restore this seaside landmark.
