Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Soft Floor Layers to join our construction team. We offer a variety of starts and flooring jobs in and around Bristol, providing regular opportunities across a range of commercial and residential projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing soft flooring surfaces such as carpets, vinyl, rubber, and other resilient materials. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring surfaces are ready for installation
- Measure and cut flooring materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Install soft flooring materials according to schematics, technical drawings, or project plans
- Use appropriate skills and techniques to secure flooring with adhesives, nails, or staples as required
- Conduct quality checks during and after installation to ensure proper fit and finish
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with site preparation, including moving materials and cleaning work areas
- Work across a variety of sites and projects in and around Bristol
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in flooring installation is essential
- Experience working with carpets, vinyl, rubber, or other soft flooring materials
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional approach

Pay: £150.00-£300.00 per day
