We have a temporary opening for a Chef to join our team at the George. This is a full-time position on a seasonal basis for a period of 3 months starting from middle-end of June. There may be some work available after this period which can be discussed towards the end of the temporary contract.
The George Inn is a village centre pub, with 5 bedrooms. Our food focusses on home cooked Mexican and American Cuisine and we open every day for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Previous Kitchen Experience is essential, although previous experience of Mexican and American Cuisine is not a necessity as full training will be provided. Experience of working independently or in a small team would be advantageous, as we work with 2 chefs on shift.
The successful candidate will show a passion for food, have a good work ethic, strong allergen awareness and take pride in a tidy kitchen

Rates of pay dependent on experience. Hourly paid.
