We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Cost Manager with a background in major, complex programmes to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness on a permanent basis. In this role you will be closely supporting the team leaders in people and client development and management alongside your day to day role.
Your day to day could sometimes involve:
- Contract Administration
- Ensure adherence to processes and procedures for issuing works in line with contracts.
- Optimise value for money by facilitating improved contractor performance management.
- Contract advice, ensuring obligations under contract are met;
- Challenge and manage scope changes, highlighting any commercial impact.
- Monitor and validate supplier performance against contracts via KPI mechanisms
- Oversee application for payment in line with undertaken activities
- Align financial reports to the requirements of the business.
- Validate impact of changes to scope, ensuring compliance to contract.
- Advise client on contractual matters and implications of actions on contract.
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risk.
- Oversee validation of estimates.
