We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without our delectably dedicated Loading Bay Team! When it comes to the crunch, they’ve really got the goods when it comes to sending our products out into the world on their journey to our customers. We’re looking for a Loading Bay Key Operator to help our teams do just that, working either 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (on alternate weeks), or 10pm to 6am shifts at our Corby site (NN17 4AP).
Let’s get a flavour of the role:
As a Loading Bay Key Operatior, your job will be to support the effective running of the loading bay day-today. You’ll ensure the smooth flow of pallets, maintaining staff efficiency and quickly addressing operational issued to prevent bottlenecks and delays. improve how our loading bay teams operate. You’ll be the key point of contact for the team, supporting communication, problem-solving and operational continuity.
- Reporting of issues/risks using appropriate reporting tools, MHE reporting for defects, quality issues etc.
- Administration of reports and registers, emails,
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with counterparts in production to identify and resolve issues and encourage great ways of working
- Train and monitor staff performance through end-of-line reporting and in working to standard operating procedures, liaising with the Section Leader and using effective communication and decision-making skills
- Ensure effective floorspace utilisation in designated areas to avoid and reduce bottlenecks
Key Ingredients (what we need to see from you):
- Experience of working in an FMCG warehousing environment
- Team Leadership skillset with experience of motivating, monitoring and ensuring adherence to safe and efficient ways of working
- Administrative capability in systems such as Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word etc.
