Prescription Clerk (15 Hours per Week)
We are looking to recruit a Prescription Clerk to join our friendly team at our main surgery in Gravesend, Kent.
This is a part-time position (15 hours per week), working:
- Tuesday: 1:30pm – 6:30pm
- Wednesday: 1:30pm – 6:30pm
- Friday: 1:30pm – 6:30pm
Please note that the working days and hours are fixed and non-negotiable. The successful candidate will also be expected to work additional hours when required, so flexibility to work overtime is essential.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience working in a GP practice; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- The ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Experience using EMIS is desirable but not essential
