Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Solar Engineer / Electrician to join our growing renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding of solar PV systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems to current industry standards.
- Install and connect inverters, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and associated electrical equipment.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning.
- Diagnose and repair faults on existing solar installations.
- Complete planned maintenance and servicing.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Complete installation documentation, commissioning paperwork, and test certificates.
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience installing or maintaining solar PV systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong fault-finding skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own Transport
Desirable Qualifications
- Solar PV qualification.
- Battery storage installation experience.
- EV charger installation experience.
- ECS or CSCS Card.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- First Aid at Work.
- Previous Solar experience
