Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision to support construction and landscaping projects
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of gardens and lawns
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Support team members with equipment setup, material transport, and other manual tasks as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work site
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators are advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and general site maintenance practices is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team
- Reliable attitude with a commitment to safety standards at all times
- A positive mindset eager to develop new skills within the construction and landscaping industries
