Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is recruiting an organised and reliable Administrative Support Officer to join the Estates team. This role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of safe and effective services by providing a comprehensive administrative and helpdesk function.
You will operate the Estates Helpdesk, responding to maintenance requests, logging and tracking jobs, and ensuring queries and urgent issues are dealt with promptly. Acting as a key point of contact, you will communicate with staff, contractors and visitors, providing updates and resolving enquiries professionally.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy office environment, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach are essential to succeed in this varied and fast-paced role.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Maintenance & Capital Sections of the Strategic & Planning Directorate. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a wide range of administrative duties including working on a busy Help Desk, ability to work on a variety of databases for data input, time sheet feedback and Oracle financial system, including all administrative duties associated with the role. The ability to transcribe minutes is also desirable for this post. Good communication skills, a good telephone manner, keyboard skills, and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is essential.
